What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “To see my patients get better and go back home with a smile on their face.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “Going to the beach with my kids and my husband. I also love traveling, going to the movies, and listening to music.”

Essaú, MD, was a physical therapist while studying medicine. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara with postgraduate in family medicine, family therapy, regenerative medicine, and bioidentical hormone therapy. Currently, he is certified in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support), and ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support).
How do you think your fellow team members see you? “In the beginning, I think they are afraid, but with time, people feel more comfortable. I believe that the key to success with human relationships is showing respect to others and oneself.”
Do you like what you do? “Absolutely! I believe I was a Doctor in another life. I enjoy knowing that my work improves the lives of others.”
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “When I can raise awareness with a patient and they make changes in their habits to stay healthy and when they prove to themselves the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “Rest and enjoy my pets at home. I love cooking new things and try to make restaurant recipes based on how they taste. I love watching movies and having people over. (Someone has to eat my kitchen experiments! LOL) You can’t put a price tag to an evening with good friends!”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “My way and New York, New York -Frank Sinatra, Callejero -Alberto Cortez, Someone like you –Adele.”
Office Manager
Ana is the link between the outside world and the administrative aspects of the Holistic Bio Spa. She thrives on anything related to organization and finances.
She helps care for our patients and guides them through their appointment scheduling and payment plans.
What is one thing that would be impossible for you to give up? “To give my kids a good education.”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “First, classic ranchera songs like Las Jilguerillas, Mercedes Castro, Rocio Durcal. Then, maybe some pop from my days: Menudo, Timbiriche, Flans, Gloria Trevi.”
Where can we find you when you’re not working? “At the beach, at the movies, or anywhere else enjoying the day with my family.”
Patient Coordinator
Already one of our best Patient Services representatives, Megan has since been promoted to Patient Coordinator to work along with our Patient Advisor Team (PAT). She is the hands and ears behind the team ensuring that our scheduling and availability meets the needs of our visiting patients along with those that have made Puerto Vallarta their home as well. Megan is a licensed massage therapist and is always there to help others above and beyond.
Do you like what you do? “I love what I do because it’s a peaceful environment and it contributes to the wellbeing of others.”
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “Seeing patients happy after receiving their treatments and how they benefit from them.”
What do you like doing in your spare time? “I enjoy spending time with Friends, my family, and my pets. I also love reading, painting, traveling, and photography.”
Certified Registered Nurse
Martin is an experienced and certified nurse. He was part of a study interchange student program where he was able to live abroad and experience a new culture. He enjoyed living in Canada.
Martin speaks French, English, and Spanish.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
“Spending time with my family, they are my world. I also enjoy watching TV every now and then!”
What would you sing at Karaoke night?
“A Mariachi song.”
Co-founder, Public Relations & Health Coach
Described as “the heart of the Holistic Bio Spa”, Alicia co-founded our company with Dr. Zoli and she is the Head of Public Relations. She fulfills a leading role in how we care for and pamper our guests on their healing journey. She is known for always going above and beyond to make sure you are happy, at peace, and comfortable at all times.
Coming from a line of healers, her mother, Elisa Partida, was a Sobadora (a Mexican old traditional hands-on healer) and herbalist gardener and chef. Her mother passed on her skills to all the women of Alicia’s family.
She took up studying about natural healing in her teens and has not stopped since. She has worked closely with and studied after Stanley Weinberger (author of Healing Within) and Dr. Elson Haas (owner and director of the Preventive Medical Center of Marin in San Rafael, CA), a pioneer in holistic practices and health education. She was also the co-owner of an all-women’s fitness center in San Anselmo, California.
She stays on top of what’s new in the wellness industry with her sister, Liliana Partida C.N. who works at the Center for New Medicine in Irvine, California with owner and director, Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy M.D. (author of the Cancer Revolution).
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job? “ I love helping people and inspiring them to be more proactive in their own health care seeing the positive results. ”
Where can we find you when you’re not working?“ Out in nature (one of my favorite spots: Vallarta Botanical Gardens) or at home cooking gourmet nutritional meals. ”
What would you sing at Karaoke night? “ Alicia Keys – This girl is on fire.”
When are you the happiest? “ All the time.”
